Stimulants Guanfacine Stimulant Combo

I had some side effects from my prescribed stimulant, but I really have ADD and am somewhat useless without it. So I got my doctor to prescribe guanfacine/intuniv at the lowest dose to go along with the stim and mitigate the worst effects. I'm sorta nervous to try it. I'm worried it'll drop my bp too low, and render me unable to do any other drugs, such as marijuana, because it's ER and probably stays in my system for awhile. I'm also worried that I'll be reliant on it and then my blood pressure will shoot wayyy up if I ever go off. And I'm worried it may make the stimulant less effective. Are these fears reasonable? Has anyone tried this combo? Also for those who are prescribed stims and have side effects but don't want to go off, what did you do to deal with the side effects such as anxiety and insomnia?
