It's completely irresponsible of the staff/server admins here for not offering a secure way to access this site.

Please fix this issue immediately before too many negative consequences come of it.
 
I agree, a friend of mine tried to sign up using TOR and was given a message stating "You cannot sign up from a proxy server". This policy puts potential Bluelighters at risk
