Misc Gabapentin effects on GABA?

Does gabapentin use deplete GABA? If so, how long does it take to replenish?
 
afaik gabapentin and/or pregabalin doesn't - but Gabapentin does deplete the following in your system: biotin, calcium, folic acid, L-carnitine, vitamin A, B12, B6, D, and K.

Many people assume gabapentin is a gaba B or gaba A agonist. It is not. From what I have read gabapentin is a voltage calcium channel blocker or something along those lines. Gabapentin has no effect on the gaba receptor though it is still under research. Meaning it does not downregulate that area of the brain compared to drugs like alcohol, benzo's or GHB.
