Fluoromodafinil.. now is that safe to take on a daily use or at least 4 days a week compared to adrafinil. I know adrafinil raises liver enzymes but I take milk thistle for liver protection on a daily basis anyways. I was just wondering if I switch to Fluoromodafinil is that safe for daily use since I have chronic fatigue syndrome and even with 8 to 10 hours of sleep I'm constantly lethargic so I was just wondering if I switched to Fluoromodafinil if I could take it daily.. thanks guys!

Heh, I just replied in the other thread and then saw this one.

I don't think anyone can say how safe the fluorinated afinil analogues are, they just haven't been studied enough. (Or at all?)
If you do decide to try it, it would be a good idea to get your health checked just before starting and then again after taking it a little while. Then you would know if it's doing some funky stuff to your liver or metabolism.

If you have established fatigue issues you could try getting a prescription for legit modafinil. It would be the safer route, though, we didn't end up on this forum by playing it safe eh?

Yeah that's true I'll have to talk to my endocrinologist and see if he can prescribe me some modafinil. My primary doctor doesn't believe in prescribing anything for chronic fatigue not even non stimulants. I'm just going to have to find a new doctor because mine is a piece of shit honestly. He can't even help prescribe me anything for my back pain except naproxen and I can get that shit at the store.. doctors now a days.. bunch of pansies! It's not my fault some idiot got addicted to pain meds.. why should I have to suffer for it you know?

It's really a shame how some doctors are so resistant to prescribing anything, certainly does a disservice to their patients. A specialist may be more willing to work with you and try different things. Plus, chronic fatigue is still a bit controversial in the medical world. Some doctors don't even believe it's a real condition, but an endocrinologist should be more helpful.

For chronic pain there are a few herbs/supplements that can help:
DLPA boosts your levels of natural endorphins, basically slightly raising your pain threshold.
Boswellia (Indian frankincense) is a good anti-inflammatory that can reduce pain related to swelling.
And of course kratom (mitragyna speciosa) can serve to replace prescription painkillers if used in moderation.

Hope this helps, and hope you can find a more helpful doctor.

Flmodafinl(Fluoromodafinil; Flodafinil; CRL-40,940) is safe to use about 2 to 5 days a week. I don't know about daily use though. Fluoromodafinil is a wakefulness enhancer. Wakefulness enhancers(like modafinil and flmodafinil) work differently from stimulants because wakefulness enhancers activate orexin receptors giving true functional wakefulness, while stimulants only provide energy and a false sense of wakefulness and alertness. Wakefulness enhancers are safer than coffee.
For pain, kratom could help.

I have taken 60-90mg flmoda twice a day for 2 months and have had no negative side effects, and my most recent (2 weeks ago) blood screens and liver function tests from the VA came back normal, but idk that's just me.. I also take 60mg tianeptine, 120mg f-phenibut, and kratom daily as well.

Do you have any difficulty falling asleep at night? The few times I tried the -afinil type drugs I noticed falling sleep was more difficult than usual. Not impossible to fall asleep - just took longer than usual and I always dosed only once early in the day.

Of course I never tried taking the stuff on a daily basis. Maybe the difficulty in falling asleep would have gone away after a few days of taking it.

Hey, sorry for the way late reply, but no, I have never gotten any insomnia from taking the Flourinated version, however, adrafinil has kept me up on numerous occasions, and I would make sure to take it at least 6 hours or so before bed, but I forgot that adra is a pro-drug for modafinil, so after it fully metabolized into moda a while later, that's what was keeping me up as the compound was then fully active much later than the initial dose... Sigh, I'm special ?.

I also think that taking the fl-modafinil (crl-40,940) during the day with my tianeptine, and taking the f-phenibut later in the day (which FL version of phenibut "knocks me out" instead of tweaking me out like regular phenibut does) probably is why I never had any sleeping issues when taking fl-modafinil, but this is all heresay at this point with these compounds heh.

Also, many of the erogeric effects developed about a 75% tolerance factor with me after about 2 weeks, making it much less effective at keeping me awake, while still maintaining the "nootropic" properties with no noticed tolerance. :)

Is it safe to consume all that fluorine i mean my toothpaste is i think .24% or maybe 0.024% . I dont get why they didnt just use chloro

Thanks for the reply :) I might give crl 40,940 a whirl... I just worry about any insomnia as I'm already dealing with it nightly these days. Most nights it takes me 2-3 hours to fall asleep...

I'm no expert but I don't think there would be much free fluorine in the drug after manufacturing if done/washed properly (at least I would hope not) and I think the bonded flourine does not get cleaved off invivo. So I believe with a well manufactured chemical one has nothing to worry about. But I'm no expert so I could be horribly wrong.

I have no idea either just I would think that it could possibly break down to hydrogen fluoride and replaced by a hydroxy group.

Idk if that would matter because even if it did I think that only be a few mg of fluorine.

I'm pretty sure it's a bit more complicated than that. I know that at least modafinil and armodafinil (no idea about hydrafinil, flumodafinil, or fluorenol) were both shown to bind to the dopamine transporter and inhibit its action, and I recall one study which tested modafinil on orexin-KO mice and found that it was still effective.
