first time with xanax

Given that it's your first time using xanax, try one .5 tablet. You can always take more later but too much can make you very sleepy.
They are sedatives after all.

If it is your first time, I would take .5mg just like T. Calderone stated. Perhaps even 1mg, but remember - the less is better because you can always take more but can't ever take less.

Besides, a first time user taking a 2mg bar will most likely have you pass out/black out fairly quickly, do stupid things you will possibly regret and have zero recollection of any of it.

Be safe and start low. Work your way up, but be careful. Benzo addiction is NO joke. Moderation is the key.

i would aim for 1mg for my first time but every one is different..

.5 mg is a very small amount of alprazolam.

If you're going for effect, I would start out at no more or less than 1 mg. However, nothing wrong with playing it safe.

Watch out with these little guys. The withdrawals are absolutely horrifying.
