ok i really liked this movie the action was awsome and takeshi kitano was BAD ASS!!!! The characters were played amzingly. The only thing i wasnt too fond of was the samuri riverdance party ho down. Trust the japanese to try to find the most akward ending lol. But strangly im not too suprised about it..

I am so dying to see this movie, international release next month ay? Would that Australian cinemas or straight to video, how can I find this out? Cant wait for this zatoichi, its going to be awesome!

Just found out that the Australian release is definately in September, it also has it listed under IMDB aswell. Does this mean in theatres or does the being released in Australia mean either cinema or video? It better get into theatres coz its a damn kick ass flick from what I hear.

What a great movie,

And the CGI effects were interesting. I read in IMDB that the blood spatterings were done that way on purpose to make it look like "blossoming across the screen"
