film: Ghost in the Shell: Solid State Society

I have been a huge GITS fan for several years, since I first saw the first movie. I loved 2nd gig (and the first Stand alone complex) , but was very sad when it ended as it was said to be the last ghost in the shell there was going to be. I magine my surprise when I was looking through the guide on direct tv and saw Solid State society was on. It turns out it did not even become available on dvd until today. GO SCI_FI channel!!! I set everything else aside and sat down to watch. It seemed to be sort of predictable during the first 45 minutes, but the ending was very unexpected, and was overall awesome. I know there are some other GITS fans over in PD and was wondering if anyone else saw it? What did you think?

the second film was awesome visually, but a whack storyline. the first ghost in the shell was incredible, though.
