dan brown + tom hanks + mullet....

i'm not giving any money to any dan brown things since i read that other piece of shit book of his. he's a terrible writer.

Im disappointed they used Tom Hanks since he was in the Da Vinci Code already and people seem to think the stories are alike.. judging from the preiviews... the story doesnt seem to reflect the book very much... still was one of my favorite reads though so I'm looking forward to it...

Yes, it's the same character. As in, it's really meant to be - it's not just Dan Brown's usual trick of new names, same damn characters. He is indeed a terrible writer.

I just saw Angels and Demons and though I never read either The Da Vinci Code or Angels and Demons, I gotta say AandD the movie was pretty damn awesome! I don't want to give anything away but even though the film starts off slow it picks up and doesn't slow down. It was one of the more intriguing films I have seen in the last few years.

I rate it 4 stars, it would have been 5 but like I said it took a little too long to develop.

I was pretty disappointed in the first movie compared to the book. I loved the book, but the movie was so-so to me. But that always happens to me when I read a book that correlates to a movie. Even Lord of the Rings, which I thought was an awesome movie series, did not hit me like the book did.

Saw it yesterday.
I liked the Da Vinci code better and even then I wasn't a big fan of DVC.
I gave this two stars.

Something that really annoys me when wathing a movie with a semi half-decent storyline, (even though i worked everything out in the 1st 20 minutes or so) is bad acting, and this had plenty.
Not a stellar performance from Tom Hanks who i expected to carry the movie.

And al the american actors playing swiss and italians, if you have to learn an accent for a movie learn it properly and stop switching back to an american accent mid sentence.

About of nonsensical as the first one, though marginally more interesting.

Was I the only one who was hoping the antimatter would detonate, wipe out the Vatican, and prevent Brown from writing any more shit stories about the Catholic Church?

A & D

is a half assed rip off of the divinci code

which is a half assed rip off of Fucose Pendelum (sp?) by umberto eco

FP is not a movie but is a book/story

if u like A & D or the Divinci code i recommend Focuse Pendelum. its a good read

I'm surprised how well this movie is doing in this poll. It was not THAT great of a movie. Entertaining ? Yes, at times. I'd say more often than not it was highly predictable.

I couldn't keep watching after the first 20 minutes. These types of films don't interest me anymore.

my opinion, for what its worth...

:\ I have rarely found any movie that is as good as the book. They lack the attention to details that authors can focus on and since you have no visual reference you can envision the characters and scenes any way you like. Then when you see the movie you find that the directors vision was no where in the ballpark with yours. I certainly did not see Tom Hanks in those roles. I mean I like him in other roles but for this one I could not take him serously. Sorry for those who liked it, no offense. My favorite movie of all time ...actually 4 of them...... The Women (the original BW) and Arsenic and Old Lace (love Cary Grant) Tombstone...LOVE it I' ll be your huckleberry..and of course Good Fellas... LOVe Ray Liotta..wow I have some odd and diverse taste! haha
Not that u asked for my faves, just felt like sharing....=D
