Opioids Fentalogue causing amnesia

I have this street dope that's causing me memory loss when I use it. I'll start nodding and wake up with a very blurry memory of what happened the night before, much like a benzo.

Any idea of what might be causing this?

Fentanyl alone will do this, it seems to be dose related and doesn't occur in everyone, but I know people who have turned into unaware zombies for a while after dosing fent, not remembering whatever happens
