Experimental/Research Psychology

its awesome and amazing. the cutting edge of science imo

i got my undergraduate degree in research psych, and have a good amount of research/internship/work experience in the field as well. while there are certainly some interesting topics (i was primarily involved with social psych - addiction, peer influence, suicide, etc.), the work environment and career structure really didn't suit me. i think it would have been better for someone who wanted to stay in academia, but the job market (IMO) doesn't adequately reward the amount of education required just to get above "research assistant."
