evaporating xylol (dpt freebase ?uestions)

so ive got (started off with 100mg, prolly lost some to spillage) some freebase dpt dissolved in xylene (didnt research first, other than googling if its a polar solvent)

so, now the more i read, the more it seems like its not too doable.

its on a heating pad with a fan in front of it, but it seems this might take weeks.

-is there a trick to getting it to take merely a few hours?

-is there a polar solvent that dpt freebase is more soluble in than xylene?

note: the whole reason i did this was to convert the salt to a freebase, so please dont waste time by telling me to convert it to a salt. the dumpster is a solution before that is.

xylene is smelly when evaporating. Like shit can get real stinky if you try and speed it up.

im willing to smell it. last time i lets a tryptamine freebase sit in solution for a few days, that solution turned dark brown.

I'd say crank the heat up, but xylene is pretty flammable so you'll have to very careful

I know you said you don't want to but to really recover it would be to salt it, filter it out then start over with ipa or ether

true, but its such a small amount that it isnt worth it. just an experiment.

also, i'll add that i know not to stand in the middle of the dense fumes and breathe heavily.
