I was wondering how an endogenous ligand affect receptors activity compared to synthetic chemical between antagonist (0), partial agonist (50) and full agonist (100).

Basically, what is normal receptor activity ?

Endogenous ligands are full agonists with maximum receptor activity.

As for normal receptor activity: Receptors can have activity without a ligand being bound to them, activating them; it's called constitutive activity. In order to block this, an inverse agonist is required.

Don't forget super-agonists, which are > full agonists (100+)
