i read recently that ex is being used in small doses as part of psychotherapy. i think they say it helps to put the patient at ease and facilitates their ability to express themselves? not exactly sure.

just curious has anyone had this treatment? i hear it's much less of a dosage than regular "street" formulas.

It is generally less of a dosage yes, and this has been used successfully in treatment of PTSD and in marriage counselling.
I haven't undergone any of these types of sessions but they have been going on for a very long time

Doses for MDMA-assisted therapy really aren't that far off recreational doses. Indeed, the first study I found used 125mg followed by 62.5mg redose. While I'm certainly not the majority of users, I've taken less than that in a night and still had a full MDMA experience. Anywhere between 100-200mg MDMA is standard recreational ranges. Once you breach that I'd say it's high doses.
