dxm polistirex question...

Hello fellow bluelighters

I had a question about doing an delsym extract. I was thinking if i extracted four 5oz bottles and added the extracted remains into a fifth delsym bottle. My question is will the powder go back into its normal state once mixed with the liquid again? Or will I have to do an extra step to recombine it. I don't want it floating to the bottom of the bottle or to see little flakes in the liquid. I want it to look like if i just bought it but obviously just way stronger.

Well, without knowing the solubility of DXM polistirex in vegetable oil, polyethylene glycol, etc. or knowing how close the delsym preperation is to being saturated already, there's not much I can tell you. My gut says it's not gonna work out, but I really don't know.

If it's important to have it disguised in a bottle, you could extract all 5 bottles, dissolve the extracted material in a solvent of your choice, then put that back into one of the bottles.
