Will eating an hour after dosing cause a reduction of DXM effects?

I have to or it feels like it eats me or rather it helps me with nausea I get it even from a 2nd plateau dose
It would reduce effects a little probably I just don't think you should take this on an empty stomach maybe that is how I react to ingesting it via cough syrup lol
Maybe eat something light if you have to a hour after dosing and/or a hour before

I find dxm (even pure powder) on an empty stomach causes nausea for me as well.
A light snack quells the nausea and Im able to enjoy myself more.
It may dull the effects to some degree but if your concerned about a reduction in effects just take slightly more
