DWI + Narcotic possession

ive driven drunk and rolling. so i dont really have any say, but at the same time its scary to think that people intoxicated (on whatever) are driving around. i dont do that anymore but still.
he should be glad he didnt hit a minivan and kill a family.

^to the PD basher... PD's are on the whole better trial lawyers than most other types. This is becuase they spend more time in court than any of the other kinds. If my ass in on the line, I want someone comfortable in the courtroom anyday! Of course there are the ones that are just bad lawyers, but on the whole they're the best if you need to go to court.

the problem with the PD offices, especially in bigger cities, is that they are incredibly understaffed and funded, and very very overworked. there are a lot of good attorneys there, they just dont have the resources that they need.

I got my final verdict tonight!

The DWI was dropped to a careless driving- $98 and 2 points
The second set of drug charges (from the suicide attempt) were dropped
I'm DONE.

So all in all... what I was charged with
5 counts of heroin possession
5 counts of paraphenlia possession
1 DWI
1 careless driving

What I was charged with
1 count of paraphanelia possession - disorderly persons - something like $600 + 6 months license revocation
1 count of careless driving - $98 + 2 points
