Drug fueled gambling binge/addiction

Damn! The worst story ever. That's why I never drink before gambling (and I don't do the drugs as well). I like to gamble from time to time, but I know when to stop. I think this is obligatory for anyone who gamble. Also, the proper strategy is needed too. Not so long ago I've found this https://bestnetentcasino.info/en/playn-go-games/reactoonz app for training. After about 200 rolls I finally found out how it works. Now I win often. Thinking about quitting my job and earn money only by gambling, lol.

I went to a casino the first time I took meth and apparently sat at a roulete table for five hours just playing colour black for minimum bet but doubling each time I lost until I recouped. My first experience of that obsessive focus. Luckily my last bet was a winner and I walked away even. I’m sure the croupier thought I was insane but nobody cared.

I hope you have learned your lesson. You can drink/take drugs (still, don't do drugs) OR gamble. Don't mix it.

My second drug fuelled experience of a casino was so traumatising I haven’t set foot in one since. Lessons well learned.

Gambling is such a mess. before i studied i worked one year at such a (i don't know the right word in english) gambling place and I could write studies about it...

I knew very early why there was no alcohol for the gamblers - they sometimes totally freaked out, mostly on the 1st or the 15th because they lost all their money. i had a broken billard-queue behind the bar but of course it was me that programmed the machines. Such a fuck, of course not. I often had to take the police so that i don't get hurt and that these people are not totally destroying the bar when they freaked out from time to time.

It would have been worth a big study!

It wasnt drug fueled but last fall I got really hooked into online gambling. I lost probably 1-1.5k in 2 months.

When I wasnt playing real money I played the free demos. It was sick. Even at work on break I was on it.

I got sick of it and never played again til a month ago, free. Once. Never playing for real again.

I’m a huge gambler when it comes to blackjack. It’s a drug in itself. I have spent many nights turn into days turn into nights standing at a blackjack table coked out Gambling with money I couldn’t lose.
I have won a lot at blackjack as well and that’s what fuels the returns.
After you have felt the rush of winning $1600 on 1 hand it’s hard to bet small like $25-50

I stay away but I really would love to go. It’s a drug for sure!!

Excuse me? Is this an advertisement?

Damn, now I want to play blackjack.

I enjoy going to casinos from time to time, can't complain about the free drinks either.
I went through a phase a few years ago where I went to the casino on a weekly basis. I used to have a routine where every Thursday night a friend came to pick me up to go to the local casino, we always smoked a fat spliff in the parking lot just before entering. I used to spend hours playing blackjack, mostly betting the minimum amount...

It's an interesting experience but IME it doesn't compare to having a poker night with some friends.
I could definitely feel the addictive pull though, but it also made me realize that money wasn't my main focus, I just liked to win. It didn't matter how much I made, as long as I won something... That realization probably saved me a lot of money.

I also used to play online poker, often while high on stimulants. I wouldn't call poker gambling though.

I do sympathize with people who have gambling issues, I know it can be very addictive and it can really make you lose everything (sometimes even faster than drugs).

I don't gamble anymore because I always get too drunk, can't stop and ALWAYS lose all my money. Like 7/7 on that.

One of the few things I can say I learned my lesson then stopped.

I've never really understood the appeal of gambling personally. I've experimented a bit with it in the past, when I visited Las Vegas, but...just isn't for me I guess.

I tried a strategy where I'd just place small bets at various tables (blackjack), would aim to double my money and would leave as soon as I accomplished that. It actually worked...I started with 10 dollars and left with around 200. But it just didn't capture my imagination. I also tried the slots, lost like 40 dollars in 2 seconds and never played again lol...I was just haunted by the fact that I could've used that money to buy food or droogz lol

Even being a little bit drunk already wrecks your risk management in gambling.... I noticed my biggest losses in poker when I was playing and drinking.. There is a reason they offer free drinks in some tourneys and ring games.
