Does Suboxone produce dopamine in my brain?

It is an opioid so it will inevitably release some dopamine. To what extent I do not know, I don't know much about it besides that it binds to mu opiate receptors.

I'm not judging but it sounds like you may be trying to justify the use of suboxone as an antidepressant. I had the same mentality with other opiates, I thought they were the solution to my depression, but it's not that easy i'm afraid. Opioids will temporarily relieve depression but in the long term will make it much worse.

If this is not your intention I apologize, but please reconsider if you think this is a treatment for depression.

I noticed that it was the suboxone and not the antidepressant that relieved my depression.

Buprenorphine is a partial mu agonist so yeah it will release Dopamine but to a lesser extent compared to full mu agonists.
