Does smoking weed cause lung cancer?

It would seem fairly unlikely to me that smoking cannabis would increase your chances of heart disease, and even more unlikely that vaporizing or eating cannabis could increase your chances of heart disease.

There was a French study going around in the news a short while ago claiming that cannabis use does increase chance of heart disease. The evidence they presented was not particularly strong. It certainly does not say smoking weed will not affect your heart. Seeing as its acute effects increase your heart rate it wouldn't be entirely unlikely that long term use may affect your heart eventually.

I just don't know. I'm inclined to believe it does, however.
