Does Dimethylone (M11) degrade into a different substance?

So few months ago I received some bk-mddma (dimethylone, m11) crystal. After a couple trials my associates and I reported unsatisfactory results barely any effects felt at 200mg and 400mg was meh.

After digging up the stash of m11 to give the substance a second chance I was surprised to find a change in effects. I'm wondering if m11 degrades into bk-mdma (methylone, m1) because effects were very similar to pre-ban m1.

Any input would be appreciated.

I don't think it was ever confirmed what that stuff actually was. Reports I heard last were that it was most likely methylone or a mixed cathinone bag.
