Opioids Do ir tramal and codeine potentiate each other well?

So like the title says, does taking the two together work as if youve taken a high dose of single opioid?

I've done it before and I feel that the effect was much stronger, I think this is obvious, the last time I did it I took 300mg of tramadol and 2 hours later I took codeine, a total of 200mg, I certainly felt the effect of both stronger I didn't use to combine them many times, because I really needed codeine for the days when I didn't have tramadol

yeah, but the timing is tricky, I usually dose the tramadol first and in 3 and a half hours min I take the codeine, as codeine inhibits the cyp2d6 enzyme which metabolises tramadol into o-dsmt , I find that the codeine supplements the itchiness and complements the lack of true opioidness of the tramadol, after some weeks tho it becomes really meh since the tolerance begins to rise, especially the tolerance regarding codeine, so it's fun for an occasional treat
