DMT STB Question

Hello all, another noobie for you

Some one who may or may have not ever existed has read through dmtwikia and several different teks and would more likely pursue STB. Would the added calcium ascorbate used in Loki's tek ( Page 3 & 4 https://www.dmt-nexus.me/doc/Loki's DMT ExtractionGuide.pdf.pdf ) carry the same benefits in a STB extraction without damaging final product?

If you're doing a STB you don't have to use calcium to precipitate anything because you're going to make the tannins into water soluble sodium salts with lye anyway.

Don't try to make a frankenstein tek. Follow one to the letter before you start experimenting.

IME...STB is easier to set up and run, but I wouldn't do another one to save my life.
I've done several STB extractions and have never been as satisfied with the end results as I am with a/b.
STB,in theory is easier but the reality is not so simple...the pulls tend to be trashier and harder to get a pure product from than a/b.
90% of my experience has been with MHRB, so if you're using A. Confusa then I'm not sure what would apply in that case.
