Dilaudid and milk thistle

In searching online there is a fair amount of information that implies dosing with milk thistle an hour prior to and every hour post dosing with hydromorphone keeps it "looping" thus maintaining pain management for as much as six to even twenty-four hours in some individuals as compared to its short half life. Does anyone have first hand experience with this and at what doses for the milk thistle? Thank you!
