Diazepam maximum

What is the maximum safe amount of diazepam. I take it for insomnia at 20mg but this is no longer helping. Thanks guys.

There is no maximum safe dose. I once had a script for well over 100mg/day of diazepam due to the circumstances of my situation (detoxing from other, more potent benzodiazepines).
