Cross eyes from opiates and weed

Sometimes when i take opiates then i get tired its alot harder to focus on stuff like a line of text. And my eyes will go crosseye ish.
Especially if im smoking it seems like as im holding in the hit my eyes cant focus and when i blow it out there back to trying to focus. How does smoke cause this to happen? And does anyone else get the same when smoking or tired on opiates? It gets kind of annoying honestly

Not sure about the smoking part causing blurryness, but when I do a big shot of H my eyes will be unfocused for about 15 minutes to the point where I can't read and text on my phone. Quite annoying but nothing you can really do about it other than stop taking drugzz
