Confidence to go after anything on speed

Hi all, this is my first post so apologies if anything i say is in breach of forum etiquette.

I have dabbled in MDMA, cocaine in the past and sure they are fun to be on but none of this compares to the buzz from speed. i think I have a bit of social anxiety or just generally overthinks things. on speed i literally translates every single thought into immediate action, it's ridiculous how much confidence it gives you. I speak and act first, and think later! but it's still YOU nobody else doing all this. I love it.

is above a common experience of the drug? what would be a safe way to take? it would be great to teach oneself these behaviours so eventually one would not need the drug. probably wishful thinking!

Hi spooon, I removed the swim out of your post because we speak in the first person. I'm not a speed person so are you asking what's a safe dose, and are they pharmaceutical or are you talking methamphetamine?

Speed gives me confidence to run to the bathroom to poop and think later before its too late. On a serious note speed kinda makes me act like im a boss. like idk if you ever saw american psycho kinda like that. Ill take a shower. Use a bunch of skin products. Painstakingly cleann my teeth. Dress in a very organzed deliberate way carefullly folding up my sleeves. Workout. Clean up mu room (still dirty but like loose wrappers and trash bothers me to where I cant just let them be) and I tend to want sex and normally id be like meh but now be like watching porn while texting a girl. While listening to some really dry thing like a three hour lecture on the use of linear alkylbenzenes sulfonates as surficants over fatty acid sulfonates for cleaning
 
Sorry for asking but whats speed? Is this a form of an amphetamine or is this just any substance that increases energy, example caffiene?
 
He does not specify however, speed could be anything that produces amphetamine like effects. Someone might say its meth or dextroamphetamine but really without a testing it it could be anything from dextroamphetamine, methamphetamine to ephedrone, methcathione, methylmethcathione, or something else. It could even be cutt with caffeine to increase the potency.

But based on what he said my guess is hes either refering to adderall or crystal methamphetamine
 
Where I'm from we'd call pharmaceutical amphetamines "speed"; stuff like Adderall, for example.

It can be and often is used to refer to (street) methamphetamine, though.
 
MDMA, cocaine, XTC and speed are considered stimulants as is caffeine. Methamphetamine may be the most notorious and maligned among the speed category of stimulants. Amphetamines were introduced at the turn of the last century in Asia, I think China or Japan, but rose to popularity during World War Two. A new book about Nazi affinity for drugs is set to be released early next year. It's called Blitzcreek and I am looking forward to reading it because tales of Hitler's abuse of Amphetamine remain vague at best though it is commonly accepted he was in throws of amphetamine psychosis at the end. But Germany wasn't the only country that used speed. Japan used it to get Kamikaze pilots jacked up to do their duties for the Emperor. Americans have their soldiers plenty of pep pills to counter battle fatigue. A professor o mine was in the Air Force then; he said they give them a hand full of Dexedrine capsules and let them wash those down with Scotch before they went battle.
So YEAH, speed can get your confidence up. In China , many use amphetamine to improve industrious. That is a country focused on social obligations unlike US where the self is emphasized. This seems to make their drug use somewhat less destructive though I have read Korea and other countries in the East have very strict laws against indulging. Americans apparently love speed, though it's popularity seem to be eclipsed now by opiates, which were also very popular in China.
Speed freaks are usually considered the most degenerate of drug fiends. Junkies look down on them. I've never understood that. After all Junkies steal, remain un bathed and are as messed up as tweakers can be. Speed has been used as a tool by student, writers, truck drivers, waitresses, bar tenders, porn stars and politicians, not to mention Artists. It can provoke extreme focus, vigilence, creativity, industriousness, stamina and wakefulness. It can also cause people to become nervous, paranoid, obsessive, sexually depraved, itchy, reckless, violent, psychotic and destructive. Famous sped users includ JFK, Jackie Kennedy, Nancy Regan, Jaquiline Suzanne, Judy Garland, Frances Farmer, Hitler, Andy Warhol, Edie Sedgwick, Lou Reed, Randy Quaid, Erin Moran, Manson Family Members, Patty Duke, Martin Scorsese, Marilyn Monroe and James Dean.
 
i snorted some white powder in romania and was told it was speed. the next 24 hours were the most enjoyable i've felt in years. i was chatting to anyone and everyone but crucially without coming across like a cock or high or drunk. it was just a super confident version of me, politely projecting my desires without a moment's thought.

the comedown was horrendous though. the worst! i'm not sure exactly what it was but as i say it was introduced to me as speed. i'd like to try a lower quantity of an amphetamine like substance. i hear adderall is the same thing? don't think i've got ADHD though so bummer getting hold of it in uk.

just to add to the list of sensations i felt...super confidence, focus, clarity of thought, determination.

Yea u get a nice euphoric rush from it but nothing compared to cocaine, or craxk. The rush I get frm those is much better but meth is a drug I can use more odten. The crash on coke or craxk outweighs it's good effects for me
