Color tinted stem and bowl pipes. Are they bad for smoking?

I'm curious if my pink color tinted stem and bowl pipes will burden my smoking experience. Can anyone help me determine if the color tint affects the smoking process?

Assuming you're talking about colored glass and not a coating of opaque paint you should be fine. Certain companies that import their smoking accessories from China have lead paint decals that can be harmful to your health. If you're still concerned you could expose the tinted piece to high heat with a torch (a lighter may leave carbon residue) to see if it gives off any fumes that would indicate its not just the heat resistant material that the smoking piece is made out of.
