Codeine dosing

I took 210mg 6 hours ago and felt quite nicely, is there any problem in taking more 250 mg in like 2 hours?

I'm not a big codeine person because all we can get here is preparations with acetaminophen. Some people report a ceiling effect at 400 mg. You may or may not feel the same effects re-dosing. What's your experience with this drug? You have straight codeine right? You could try next time taking a higher dose all at once.

I usually take a CWE of around 250 and another around 5 hours later. That works for me.

I'm pretty sure it's hard to redose on codeine since itself inhibits the enzyme that converts codeine to morphine (thats what gets you high). so redosing too soon is a bit of a waste. I would recommend waiting a day or two at least.

You’ll hear different things. Me personally I leave it about 4 to 5 hours before redosing.
