I have been thinking about Clor recently. They were an English kind of synthpop band who released one album in 2005 that was reviewed very well - and then they broke up in 2006. That one self titled album is a minor masterpiece that for obvious reasons has kind of slipped through the cracks.
The whole album is around and I'll defer to Clor and recommend you go with the first single for a sample of what they sound like:

Since they broke up the vocalist Luke Smith has gone on to a fairly impressive production and writing career: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luke_Smith_(record_producer) and the bass player Max Taylor is apparently a solo artist along with playing bass for Lily Allen.
I just want more people to know Clor.
