Clonidine Vs Tizanidine

Hi everyone, I am on a clonidine script for both insomnia and muscle tension and read about different a2 adrenoreceptor agonists and found that tizanidine was use more frequently for muscle tension. So I thought I could post about what are the differences experiance wise between Clonidine and Tizanidine (other than the half life).

So whats is different between those two?

I find tizanidine is like flexeril but works better. I broke my back in three places and really stop some of the spasms. I'll ask my doc for a script of clonidine and report back.

I found tizanidine to be a little more sedating, and it made me feel worse in the morning even after a long night sleep
