I think the candy is suppose to represent DJ buttons...not drugs...your just making that connection bc your pills may or may not have looked like those. At no point looking at the bag of candy did I think "hmmm looks like e-pills"

Because most beans have sugar coating on the outside...those crystals make it 84% pure C6H12O6...

They do look a bit like the mints you can find in the UK. Doesn't look much like a proper pill, but I've seen mints that look almost exactly like that
