cAN You get high from smoking industrial hemp?

Since I was in 8th grade I was indoctrinated to believe you couldnt get high from smoking hemp, only weed. I believed this all these years. Well a friend of mine recently told me you can get high from industrial hemp and he gave me some and I smoked it and there is a definite high.

Of course its nothing like smoking the medical buds I'm used to, but there's a definite buzz. It's very mellow and its probably the CBD working more than any thc but I am feeling like all these years ive been lied to about this plant.

CBD Doesn't get you high and the THC content in industrial hemp is so incredibly low (0.3-1.5% THC content).

So while there's still some THC in it I can't imagine that you would get high as a regular user unless you smoked quite a bit. Of course the CBD is still active and reaps all the medical benefits aswell so there's always that side to it.
