Opioids Can Nucynta replace Oxy?

I take on average about 200mg Oxycodone/ Oxycotin daily. Been on them for almost 6 years.
60mg x2 oxycotin
15mg x6 oxycodone

Can Nucynta replace this and at what dosage would work? I have a bunch of 75mg. They are about 4 years old though. I also have a bunch of Lyrica but that never seemed to do anything for me.

Mostly I'm trying to not have terrible withdrawals as I'll be without oxys for a few days because pharmacy messed up.

Tapentadol is an opioid, they will reduce your withdrawal.

Looking at the conversion chart it seems 500mg of tapentadol is equivalent to 100mg of oxycodone. I would advise caution of going over 500mg of tapentadol a day though. That is the max recommended for that drug.

Tapentadol is quite strange, i had mild hallucinations from it and i enjoyed it more than oxy.

Tapentadol is quite strange, i had mild hallucinations from it and i enjoyed it more than oxy.

It is a weird enough opioid and there are some interesting reports of the same with other people.

It has mild SNRI properties and I find at the 500mg mark I’ve had some myoclonic seizure activity. So I always advise people to be wary of going over that mark as it’s the upper limit of what’s advised. I have a high tolerance of tapentadol.

Id recommended 1 (75mg) every 4 hours. Don't expect to feel completely better.
