Can MDMA powder eat away at gel caps?

So i filled 10 capsules with .1g MDMA each, they sat in my closet for about a month zipped up in a ziplock baggie, i went to use them a weekend ago at a rave, i go to the bathroom to take a cap, and i realize a few of them have wholes in the caps all of a sudden, and seem very fragile/dry, so i end up spilling alot of my powder (oh no! :/) is it normal for these gel caps to deteriorate over time? or does the MDMA have something to do with this?

assuming veggie caps, from your basic online or local 'organic' store.
they will dry up/degrade (the cap itself) based on where and how you are storing.

its easier to store the powder than already cap'd imo.

I've had a big bag of veggie caps full of MDMA in my closet for over a year. An airtight jar and a desiccant packet should solve your problem.
