Opioids Can i make ultram er/xr work immediately?

I'm on extended release ultram which takes forever to start working. I read somewhere if you chew it, it works faster. Is this true?

I'm not sure how the XR system works in those pills but i'm pretty sure it's a basic time release that can be defeated by crushing or chewing. Tramadol is one of the nastiest drugs i've ever tasted, you might want to crush them and parachute the powder.

Just be aware that you might have to lower your dose slightly as the instant release of the drug might make it feel stronger.
