Concentrates Can I make CBN out of delta 8 thc?

I read a thread on here that said I can make CBN by cooking THC or THC containing products in the over at 240 degrees F for 2-3 hours.
Can I do this with delta 8 thc instead? will that make delta 8 CBN?

hm by looking at the structural differences between 8 and 9, I'd say probably yes. but that is just a slightly educated guess. the difference is that the double bond on the ring is in a different position (8,9 vs 9,10) but otherwise atoms neighboring the double bond are practically the same.

missed that part: no because in cbn, the ring in which the position of the double bond defines d8 vs d9 is turned fully aromatic such that there cannot be "d8-cbn".
