Short answer is yes, though it will likely be less effective at removing the NSAID in question from the codeine or whatever. The key is using cold water and keeping everything nice and ideally below or around freezing. You don't really need a fridge though. Just get a big bowl, a bag of ice from your local market and you can cool the solution in an ice bath. Should achieve the same results as a fridge.

There's a huge difference in solubility, so you don't need a fridge. You can use TPD's suggestion to be cautious about getting rid of all the apap. If you can't use cold water though, you can just less water that's at room temperature.

you can use ice water or ice, salt and water in a bucket or bath and put a bottle with the CWEable pills dissolved in if you really want
