Can an LSD experience be reduced if taken days after using DXM?

A distant cousin will soon use around 500 mg of DXM and exactly a week later will take lsd. He is aware that you should wait some days between lsd trips but, do you have any idea if that applies to this two substances?

He's guessing it shouldn't matter at all but beeing unexperienced in the subject, could not tell for sure.
