Bupe Brupenorphine to codeine

hi everyone im knew to this so hopefully I can get a wee bit advice,i was on 12mg of Subutex for 7 yearsand have taperd down to half a milogram which was hard work,the withdrawal are just never ending and that's while im still on half of a mg.iv been thinking to switching to codeine for maybe 4 months or so first 2months let it get in to my receptors then rapidly tapering next 2 months as iv heard the withdrawal from codeine may feel as bad as bupe but no where near as long.has anyone had any experience doing this as i could do with a healthy bit of advice as this low amount of buprenorphine i just feel ill everyday sorry about my grammar folks

for me, switching to codeine would just start the ball rolling again. did subs for a few months and jumped at 4mg. wasn't fun but now it's over. good luck whatever you decide.
