Breakdown/psychotic episode

Hi

Has anyone had experience where, say, a combination of propranolol and/or diazepam helped them defeat a panic attack and continue to work?

Lost job because of breakdown/psychotic episode. Dr. put me on the above regime, so if I get a new job and feel a meltdown coming, this new drug regime might defeat panic attack.

I've never heard of a beta blocker and a benzodiazepine helping a psychotic break.

I have heard them used for anxiety and panic attacks.

Panic attacks and psychotic episodes are two different things.

You need antipsychotics for the second.
