Heroin Best way to smoke H - foil or meth pipe?

I'm in the UK so it's #3 H that you get here.

Typically, foil is considered the best, but we all know that you lose some vapour whilst doing it.

I've heard that using a meth pipe is better as you don't lose any of the vapour?

If I kept applying heat to the same spot of H to vaporise it and not burn it, would this work? Or would it need to be able to run like on foil whether or not I burned it?

Could I run it side to side in the pipe if it was a large one, would that help?

Never used meth, let alone a meth pipe. Anybody got experience with this? I know the glass retains heat but if I didn't let it burn and let it cool down before each hit would this work?

Any help/advice would be great, thanks!

Foil. Use it to chase and then toss it once you're don with it. Using a pipe will be sticky and messy and you don't want to go that route. Chase the dragon with heroin. Even if it's #3 heroin.
