Best source of DXM

Just to be clear I'm asking for a substance, not an actual source/location.

What do you guys use? This would be my first time, I've done some research and I'm interested. What's good to trip on? What's a good dose?

Also, what kinda experience should I expect? For comparison I've done LSD and LSA before.

Robitussin cough long acting... Blue box with white and yellow and nothing but dxm and a tiny bit of ethyl acetate or the same cough gels but even for equivalent doses it has never been the same as the actual cough syrup.... And the name brand Robitussin is markedly different and better than other generics or off brands that are "exactly" the same... Take it from someone who has done it over 1000 times and more times to not trip but enhance life than to trip, times about 50...doses up to ~3000mg

What's a good starting dose? Let's say I have the pills.

Well certainly not 3000mg!!! That is easily enough to fry your brain forever, possibly even killing you.,..1000mg should be plenty if ya really want to get crazy....I stay between 300-600mg myself

I've honestly never noticed a difference between generic and name brand. As long as it was only DXM as active ingredients.
