hello,
I had faintness(was thinking i ld die) and after a fairly intense sex with viagra.
Does zolpidem reduce the BP? because I take it to relax. the viagra in + also lowers the tension? so the blood pressure is too low. (I take paroxetine and viagra help as antidepressants lower libido).

I had taken paracetamol 500mg, zolpidem 10mg and sildenafil 50mg 1h before the sex.

so is this the low bp by viagra + zolpidem which did that?

now
I will take less 10mg viagra and 2.5mg zolpidem ?

i see nothing against benzo + viagra on interaction or internet.

thank you.

Both can lower blood pressure, which you need to be careful of. Viagra was originally made as a blood pressure medicine, and benzo's can lower blood pressure as well. Be careful when using in conjunction.

Stay safe.

Viagra increases the pressure down there.. and reduces overall. Make sure you dont take anything else that effects your blood pressure.

Hey OP and a belated welcome to the forums! First off. Zolpidem (Ambien, Stilnoct) is not a Benzodiazepines. It is in a class known as Z-Drugs. They are like Benzodiazepines in many ways, yet still distinct. It's not a strange reaction that you're experiencing, really. It is of course a sedative, so in the same way that Benzodiazepines can directly and indirectly reduce blood pressure, as can Zolpidem. I've been told that erections, or in Boston medical nomenclature, a "Wicked Hard-On, Guy" occur following sexual stimulation and involves blood being diverted from the rest of the body.

Of course, we now know that this information is false and that erections are caused by Miasms or "bad-air" produced when planets align in a less-than-desirable manner and sexual desire is of course a product of the anti-Christ trying to influence and destroy our lives through hijacking our carnal desires.

All joking aside, I believe that the combined effort required for sex, coupled with the usage of a drug which can lower your systemic BP and the Zolpidem create a strong case for what I would call a normal, non urgent situation. If this faintness progresses to the point of actually losing your legs/consciousness than contact us and your GP to discuss it further. I don't think there's any cause for alarm here, however.
