this was the right decision. the message this person sent also reads a little bit pushy in my opinion. in my opinion they should even apologize because they were dumb enough not to inform you about this stuff in the first place.

Ethical ayahuasca retreats would have discouraged you from attending because of your long term ssri use; they would not recommend you cease using an ssri as they can't know whether you need it or how you will react. That email seemed kind of psychologically manipulating, I think you dodged a bullet and sincerely hope you are able to get your money back.

They are still trying to push me to go!!

They have told me that if I must have a refund, they will only give me 50% back of what I have paid. I have gone ballistic now and told them straight how irresponsible they are and that I am going to take it further, If things are not resolved don't you guys worry I will be naming and shaming them! Totally not what Ayahuasca should be about!
