Benzos Ativan after Meth doesn’t kick in?

Hey, after Meth use some friend took Ativan to calm down and relax but it didn’t work. It doesn’t kick in. Why’s it? Someone know?
Hope to get fast answers. It’s really urgent...

How long has your friend been high? If they're high as balls, a little bit of sedative is not going to do much.

As LA alluded to, meth is a pretty powerful stimulant. Depending on the dosages and potency of each drug, it's hard to give you a good answer.

But give yourself ~45 minutes before you judge the Ativan.
 
From what i know, Ativan is a rapid release benzo but supposed to be one of the milder ones. I only take em during the tail end of a crash if its a rough one. Theyve never failed me.
You might've just been too high? And what size
dose are they?
