Opioids Are oxycontins evenly dosed?

I've got access to 40mg oxycontin. These are blister packed dual-polymer maxtrix pills so are legit. I'm gonna cut it in quarters to get 10mg per dose. Just wondering if a quarter will actually give me 10mg or is the full dose unevenly spread and it's be better to search out 10mg pills?

They should be.

But if you are that concerned about accuracy you could crush into a fine homogeneous powder and dose by weight. If gross pill weight is say 400mg, then 100mg of well mixed crushed pill powder should be 10mg of oxycodone, net.

Of course it will be immediately release at that point

These tablets cannot be crushed into powder. It's like trying to crush plastic into powder. It just mashes up.

If they're the pharma pills, then they'll be evenly dosed throughout. Sounds like they must be the real thing, there are some enterprising criminals making fake blister packs with drugs, but I have never heard of it with oxys. And I am quite sure that no one is figuring out how to emulate the dual-polymer matrix, so I think you can be pretty assured they're the real deal.
