It doesn't happen often, but it's not unheard of

Also the tests are very sensitive, to the point where they test for the presents of the compound. It basically means that even a small "impurity" of MDxx can make the test look very purple or black especially as time passes. If you get a combo of tests so like the marquis, macke, and simon for example you can determine with more accuracy whats really there.

I have gotten pills that tested purple but were crap.

Pure crap, Hitler's doctor only gave him rat dropping 2 out of the 19 pills he rolled up in gold.paper for the Fuhrer to take. But I take in the other 17 sample where morphine, methamphetamine,benzoamphetamine, and of course cocaine with even more morphine.
