Another DMT STB Question

Ive come across these photos of 2 precipitates formed from the same pull in a DMT STB extraction.
Related text say that in the first photo no moisture froze inside the container and nice crystals formed after naptha was air dried.
In the second, moisture had got inside the container from the freezer and froze around the edges and presumably in the naptha, the crystals gathered appeared to be lighter and had an ice like effect once naptha had air dried.

I understand photos dont give a true indication but under the assumptions,
Would anyone say the precipitate in second photo is consumable? If not what steps could be taken remove the moisture/recover the fb?

the second shit looks better than the first.
However, evaporation is a piss-poor way to crystallize, IMO, it yields a less pure product than freeze precipitation.
If you can't do a FP then i'd suggest redissolving in heptane and then evaporating...
You'll want to dissolve DMT in warm heptane, you'll have some brownish oil left at bottom of you jar...decant evaporate heptane leave sludge behind....repeat until residue left behind fails to crystallize.
 
do you have access to heptane? and how serious are you about DMT...i mean if you're gonna be doing this a lot, heptane is definitely worthwhile.
also, IMHO, STB is an inferior way to get a superior product.

Well, you can do the same procedure as outlined for heptane...torecrx in Naptha.
Just put DMT in a small amount of naptha 20-30 ml/gram in a jar with shoulder(smaller mouth than body) place in a warm water bath and swirl until DMT is dissolved.
You should have clear/ish naptha and some brown oil in bottom of jar.
Decant naptha off of oil...jar shoulder will facilitate this procedure.
evap. naptha until it clouds up then place in freezer.
Repeat until it fails to crystallize...each run will be dirtier than the previous run...don't mix runs until you compare colors.
This isn't perfect, but it will clean it up a bit.
Lastly, you can just smoke it the way it is...
