I've been taking ambien on top of my prescribed gabapentin at night because my insomnia is pretty killer. I looked it up and most sites said it was a "moderate" interaction. A family friend who's a nurse practitioner said it should be fine together. However, today I feel incredibly hungover from the combo. I feel dizzy, a little nauseous, and mainly more stupid and out of it than usual. Even have trouble thinking and grasping words. Did I do any permanent damage? I'm going to stop this combo until I see a doctor, but I just hope that I didn't become permanently retarded or something.
