Ambien after Percocet

Just a quick question. I’ve been on norco 7.5 for a couple years now but bc of an injury I was given Percocet 10. My question is, I took 2 perc 10 at 3:15 this morning and I absolutely can NOT sleep. Is it ok to take an Ambien so soon after taking my pain medicine? I’ve always had this fear of mixing drugs and possibly overdosing or some crazy drug interaction so it’s just something I never do so I apologize for my ignorance on this medicine.

I've done it many times. You'll be fine, just make sure you give yourself plenty of time to sleep.

oxy doesn't really react with much, one should be more worried about effects stacking but on the bright side, oxy is one of the lesser dangerous opioids unless taken in rediculous doses due to it being more stimulating and far away from the respiratory depression of somthing like morphine.
